December 26, 1996FORT DODGE -- Stacy L. Allen, 26, of 3022 Seventh Ave. S., Fort Dodge, formerly of Mason City, died Sunday (Dec. 22, 1996) at the Hamilton County Hospital, Webster City of injuries received in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. Arne C. Bergland officiating. Following the service, the body will be cremated with the committal service to be held on Friday, Dec. 27, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., and one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorials may be given to the Stacy L. Allen Memorial Fund.
Stacy L. Allen was born Dec. 25, 1969, in Mason City, the son of James and Penny (Hoff) Allen.
He graduated from Mason City High School in 1988.
Stacy moved to Des Moines in 1990 and was employed by Seneca Tank of Des Moines.
He married Sheri Mitchell on July 24, 1993, in Mason City.
In June of 1994, they moved to Fort Dodge.
Among a few of the things Stacy enjoyed doing with his family and friends were snowmobile and motocross racing, playing pool, foosball and camping. Whenever Stacy did something, he gave it 100 percent and no one will ever forget his practical jokes.
Survivors include his wife, Sheri Allen of Fort Dodge; parents, James and Penny Allen of Des Moines; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Shirley Mitchell of Mason City; one sister, Shelly Radcliff and her husband, Brian, of Mason City; paternal grandparents, Donald Sr. and RosieMary Allen of Mason City; sisters-in-law, Stacie Mitchell of Mason City, and Julie Draper and her husband, Mike, of Mason City; nieces and nephews, Samantha Radcliff, Scott Radcliff, Hailey Draper, Kylie Draper, and Cody Draper; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Violet Rassmusson, and great uncle, Marion (Dick) Hoff.
