MASON CITY -- Sandra Bohl, 75, of Mason City, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, (November 24, 2014) at Mercy Medical Center–North Iowa.

Per her wishes cremation with a memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday (November 28, 2014) at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street N.E., Mason City, with visitation 1 hour prior to the memorial service with Father Gehling officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to North Iowa Cancer Society.

Sandra Bohl was born in Oelwein, IA, on December 27, 1939, to James and Rose (Wolf) Boyle. She was a graduate of Mason City High School. Sandra was married to Darwin Bohl on September 7, 1962, in Holy Family Catholic Church, Mason City, IA. Sandra was member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.

Sandra had worked various jobs in customer service over the years in Mason City. She loved to read, enjoyed being outside so she could go fishing, and spending time with family, friends and grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her four children, Christine Nielson of Mason City; Joe (Bernie) Bohl of Mason City; James “JV” (Teri) Bohl of Roland and Phillip (Miranda) Bohl of Zearing; nine grandchildren, Nathan, Dylan, Jackie, Sarah, Madison, Chloe, Issie, Jackson and Brody and another one on the way; two great-grandchildren, Claire and Sapphira; three brothers-in-law, Irving “Rocky” Rockafellow and Marvin (Kathy) Bohl and Greg Bohl; sisters-in-law, Patricia Paulson and Suzanne Boyle along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin “Skip” Bohl; parents, James and Rose Boyle; brother, Jim Boyle, Ed Boyle, her sisters, Rose Rockefellow, Clara (Carl) True, Shirley (Jim) Mills, Virginia (Glen) Torgerson, Joyce (Robert) Askildson a brother and sister at infancy, two brothers-in-law, Ike (Joan) Bohl, Snooks (Betty) Bohl.
