Mrs. Emma Francis Erickson, wife of E. T. Erickson, 938 North Van Buren avenue, was born at New Salem, Ohio, April 4, 1871 and died at Rochester, Minn. March 26, 1924, after having gone there for an operation.

She was the daughter of Martin V. and Hannah McKim. Her early childhood was spent in North Salem and Kimbolton Ohio, and in 1888 she came to Iowa with her parents and settled in Wapello county. On June 25, 1895 she was united in marriage at Cambridge to E. T. Erickson, who with two sons and two daughters survive her. The daughters are Mrs. W. J. Taylor of this city and Mrs. Walter Thada of Goodell. The sons are Roy J. of Corona, N. Mex., and John T. of Mason City.

Two daughters preceded her in death in January 1919.

Mrs. Erickson became affiliated with the Church of Christ at What Cheer, Ia, in 1906 and since her coming to Mason City has been a consistent member here.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. T. E. Tomerlin in charge. Burial will be made in Elmwood cemetery.
