Saturday, May 30, 2015MASON CITY - Wendy J. Enabnit, 31, of Mason City died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
A Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015, at Fullerton Funeral Home. Pastor Louie Bram will be officiating. Inurnment will follow at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.
Wendy was born Dec. 8, 1983, in Mason City to Joel and Wanita (Ritter) Enabnit. She attended Mason City Schools and graduated Mason City High School leading her senior class in 2003.
Wendy has resided in Mason City at home her entire life. She loved going camping with her family which consisted of tubing, going out on the fishing boat and bonfires. She liked visiting with people; anyone and everyone. Wendy helped take care of her nephews all the time and had a very special relationship with them. She had a heart of gold which showed through her caring personality. She loved her dogs. She loved sitting out on the deck with her grandpa Don. Wendy also loved when she could sit on her dad’s Harley motorcycle.
Wendy enjoyed listening to country music. Her parents took her to see Little Big Town last December shortly after her birthday. Wendy had a great sense of humor and will be remembered for her playful teasing and jokes. She was a very giving person and at one time donated 4 feet of hair to Locks of Love. Wendy will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She shared a lot of love and kindness throughout her 32 years of life and will be remembered as an angel.
Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Joel and Wanita Enabnit; brother, Wesley (Alicia) Enabnit; maternal grandmother, Francys Ritter; paternal grandparents Pat (Bill) Tarr and Lyle Enabnit; nephews, Ashton Chapin, Bradyn Enabnit, Aidan Manemann, Aizik Enabnit and Caylor Enabnit; aunts and uncles; Donnella (John) McGrew, Mike (Doris) Ritter, Julie Schroader, Janella Wood and Jena (Rudy) Mansfield; cousins, Jennifer Landgrebe, Angie (Jeramie) Moore, Vanessa McGrew, Kevin (Sheri) Ritter, Steve (Meghan) Ritter, Jason (Courtney) Ritter, Nick Ritter, Dexter Schroader, Tricia Schroader, Nicholas Wood, Walker Mansfield and Tate Mansfield; and several friends from Opportunity Village and Critical Care at Mercy Hospital.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Don Ritter; paternal grandmother, Mary Enabnit; cousin, Nathan Wood; uncles, Charlie (Shirley) Ritter and Jimmy Ritter.
