JoAnn Ellingson, 60, of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, died Tuesday (Dec. 26, 1995) at the Westwood Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mansfield Lutheran Church, Mansfield, Minn. Burial will be in the Mansfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Bayview/ Freeborn Funeral Home, Albert Lea, Minn., and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

JoAnn was born Oct. 22, 1935, in Plymouth, a daughter of Joseph and Myrtle (Bork) Martinie. She graduated from Mason City High School.

JoAnn was united in marriage to ElRoy A. Ellingson on Dec. 28, 1954, in Mason City. She worked for Blinder Motors from 1953 to 1967, when they moved to Kiester, Minn. JoAnn and ElRoy owned and operated the Kiester Food Market for 20 years. They moved to St. Louis Park, Minn., where JoAnn worked for Gittleman's as an on-site building manager for seven years. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Kiester, and the Kiester Legion Auxiliary. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, ElRoy, of St. Louis Park, Minn.; son Craig Ellingson of Forest City; daughters, Robyn and her husband, Jeff Wacholz, of Mansfield, Minn., and Mary Jo Ellingson of Marshall, Minn.; three special grandchildren, Hilary, Ron and Spencer Wacholz; one sister, Zelda and her husband, Alan Groh of Manly; mother-in-law, Selma Ellingson of Kiester, Minn.; two sisters-in-law, Gilma and her husband, Eldo Oppedahl, of Blaine, Minn., and Doreen and her husband, Tom Riesetter, of Anoka, Minn.; brother-in-law, Ron, and his wife, Gwen Ellingson of Shakopee, Minn.; many nieces, nephews and friends.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law and one nephew.
