Alfred J. Embretson, 55, of 328 Eighth Place S.E., Mason City, died Monday (Sept. 16, 1996) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City, with the Rev. Martin Miller of Howardville Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday.

Alfred John Embretson was born June 1, 1941, at Austin, Minn.

Survivors include his wife, Alice, of Charles City; one son, Mark of Charles City; two brothers, Charles of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Joseph of Mason City; and a half-sister, Delores Schumacher of Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
