Ellamae Thomas, 86, of 400 Highway 18 West, Clear Lake, died Wednesday (April 3, 1996) at Oakwood Care Center.

Following cremation at Memorial Park Crematory, memorial services are being planned for a later date. St. John's Baptist Church will be officiating and inurnment will be at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Fullerton Patterson James Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City, is in charge of arrangements.

Ellamae was born on May 2, 1909, in St. Maurice, La.

Survivors include three brothers, Jay Jackson of East Troy, Wis.; David Jackson Jr. of Cedar Rapids, and Andrew Jackson of Minneapolis, Minn.; and one sister, Odella Nichols of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and two sisters.
