Doris H. Shultz, 81, of 1000 N. Eisenhower Ave., died Monday (April 1, 1996) at the Heritage Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. Karl Shiltz of the United Methodist Church, Titonka, officiating. Interment will be in the Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service on Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Doris H. Shultz Memorial Fund.

Doris was born Aug. 23, 1914, in Germania, Iowa, the daughter of William and Selena (Perry) Stott.

She attended and graduated from Titonka High School in 1932.

Doris married Bernard Shultz on Oct. 15, 1947. She had lived in Des Moines from 1931 until 1991, when she moved to Mason City to live at the Willows.

Survivors include three sisters, Julia Stott and Maxine Stott, both of Titonka, and Vivian Valley of Carterville, Ill.; and one brother, Howard Stott of Irvine, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard, in 1971; an infant son, Gary Steven Stott; three sisters; and one brother.
