Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, IowaMildred Mae Sentman (Oetken) entered her heavenly home on December 25, 2015 in Mason City, Iowa.
Mildred was born on May 7, 1919, on the Oetken farm in Rockwell, Iowa to parents John and Lena Eilers Oetken, brother Clarence and sister Elsie. Mildred is preceeded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Reverend Carl James Sentman and daughter Clarice June Meyers.
Mildred is survived by her son Paul James Sentman (Laura), nieces Phyllis (Dalyn Souhrada) and Lois Oetken, nephews Merlin Oetken and Paul (Joyce) Oetken, along with many beloved grand and great grandchildren, family members and friends.
She was a faithful attender of Twin Cities Bible Church in Maplewood, MN, where she adored the expositional preaching of God's Word by Pastor H. Lloyd Johnson, Jr.
A special thanks to the caregivers at Rockwell Community Nursing Home and Hospice of North Iowa.
A reviewal is to be held at 9:30 am Monday, December 28, at the First Baptist Church,121 2nd Street North, Rockwell, Iowa, 50469. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, honorariums can be made to Jews for Jesus or Back to the Bible.
Retz Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
