November 27, 1995Ryan Joseph Boeshart, 19, of 410 Third Ave. N., Clear Lake, died Saturday (Nov. 25, 1995) at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn. from an accidental gun shot.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 1995, at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. Fourth St., with the Rev. Dean Hess officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St.
The family suggests memorials be made in his name.
Ryan was born Nov. 27, 1975, in Mason City, the son of Fletcher and Kathy (Ellefson) Boeshart. He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1994. He was very active in Clear Lake sports, earning all-district honors in baseball and qualifying for the state wrestling meet. He enjoyed music, collecting baseball cards and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He volunteered as an umpire for Little League and Babe Ruth games.
He was a devoted employee at Winnebago Industries in Forest City.
Ryan was a great father to his son, Aaron.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy Boeshart, Clear Lake; his father, Fletcher Boeshart and his wife, Carol, Forest City; his fiance, Carla Aragon, Clear Lake; his son, Aaron Boeshart, Clear Lake; two brothers, Jeff Boeshart and his wife, Tammy, and Kevin Boeshart, all of Clear Lake; maternal grandmother, Josephine Ellefson, Clear Lake; paternal grandparents, Bonnie and Bill Boeshart, Garner; two stepsisters, Kim Hagg, Clear Lake, and Anna Boddell, Pochahontas, Ark.; a stepbrother, Jimmy Rickman, Greeley, Colo.; a half-brother, Shane Boeshart, Forest City; and several aunts and uncles.
