CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Gustave G. Heinrich, 80, of Clear Lake, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Clear Lake. Mr. Heinrich died Saturday (July 26, 1980) at a Mason City hospital.

The Rev. Lyle Lieder will officiate at the services and burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

International Order of Odd Fellows services will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Raised and educated in Wellsburg, Mr. Heinrich moved to Clear Lake in 1971 where he owned and operated Shell and Champlin service stations for several years.

Mr. Heinrich was a past noble grand of IOOF Lodge of Iowa 187 and a member of the Clear Lake Methodist Church, the Clear Lake Senior Citizens and North Iowa Solo Parents. In 1978, he was voted “Father of the Year” by North Iowa Solo Parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. William (Karen) Shoop, Clear Lake, and Mrs. D.E. (Ramona) Osborne, Templeton, Calif.; a son Ronald J., Saudi Arabia; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a brother Carl, Wellsburg.
