Mrs. Eveline Smith Obituary

Mrs. Eveline Smith was born May 21, 1879, at Lancaster, Iowa. She had been a resident of Rockwell for the past 25 years. On Wednesday, Jan. 16, Mrs. Smith died at a Rockwell hospital at the age of 72. She is survived by her husband, William, of Rockwell, a son, John, of Hudson, Wisc., a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Marguerete) Graney, Lakewood, N. M., 4 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mrs. John [Matilda M.] Carroll, Swaldeale, Mrs. George Meyer, Glen Haven, Wisc., and Mrs. Henry [Elizabeth Mary] Scholl, Rockwell, and a brother, John Kipper, of Bloomington, Wisc.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a. m. at Sacred Heart church, Rev. R. S. Bohrer, celebrant at the Requiem Mass. Interment was at the Sacred Heart cemetery, Rockwell.

The Sacred Heart school choir sang. Altar boys were Robert Klatt and Robert Scholl. James Ermer was cross bearer. Paul Sturges and Michael Cahill were ushers.

Pallbearers were Frank Sturges, Edward Kaplan, Emil Jorgensen, Leo McLaughlin, Francis Scholl and Cal Dwan.

Interment was at Sacred Heart cemetery, Rockwell.

The Patterson - James funeral home was in charge.
