Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, IowaArlene Jermeland, 73, of Mason City died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at the Mercy Hospice Care Unit in Iowa City.
A funeral Mass for Arlene will be held 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 305 Elm Street East, Rockwell with the Reverend Rodney Allers officiating. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Rockwell.
A visitation with a public viewing will be held from 4 to 7 pm, Monday, August 5, 2013 at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. NE, Mason City where a scriptural wake service will be held at 4:00 pm. The reciting of the rosary will be held at the conclusion of the visitation. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Chapel on Tuesday in Rockwell.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice, 1025 Wade Street, Iowa City, Iowa 52240 for their superior care of Arlene.
