The funeral of Thomas Hanley, a brother of Mrs. M. Conrin, occurred last Thursday forenoon from Sacred Heart Catholic church and interment was made in the [Sacred Heart] Catholic cemetery [Rockwell, Iowa].

Mr. Hanley will be remembered by some of our older citizens as an early resident of this locality.

At the time of Mr. Hanley's death he was working near Mt. Vernon, and on receiving the sad news Mrs. Conrin took immediate steps to have the body brought here for burial.
