FUNERAL SERVICE HELD FOR MRS. JOHN WEED

CLEAR LAKE - Funeral services for Mrs. John Weed, who died a at Mason City hospital Sunday afternoon, were held at Ward’s funeral home Wednesday morning at 10:30. The Rev. Warner M. Hubbard, pastor of the Methodist church conducted the services.

Mrs. R. A. Monaghen accompanied by Mrs. Harry Mason sang “In the Garden” and “Beautiful Isle.” Mmes. Fred Miller and Fred Funk had charge of the flowers.

Pallbearers were G.F. Reynolds, Guy Coyier, E.W. Winnie, Fred Miller, T. E. Sondrol, and Willis Bemiss, Mason City.

Relatives from away who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Freeman and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Freeman, Minneapolis, Mrs. Eunice Tice, Mason City and Mrs. Floy Vivian, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Members of the Woman’s Relief Corps and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary attended the services in a body.
