H. J. WELKER DIED SUDDENLY

CLEAR LAKE – Howard J. Welker, 49, died suddenly Saturday at Amarillo, Tex. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilcox Funeral Home with Dr. John E. DeLong, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Clifford Odom, Ernest Nelson, Maurice Miles, Joe Caffrey, Ray Bast and Edwin Zook.

Howard Juhl Welker was born July 15, 1913, at Clear Lake to Harry and Mary (Juhl) Welker. He is survived by his mother and sister, Mrs. Roy Badker.
