CAROL DUREGGER

Carol J. Duregger, 58, formerly of Clear Lake, died Oct. 26, 1992 at North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, at Ventura United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Gobeli officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m. at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake.

The family suggests memorials given in her name.

She was born June 27, 1934 in Clear Lake, Iowa the daughter of Albert and Fannie (Rish) Duregger. She graduated in 1953 from Clear Lake High School. She loved to collect owls, ornaments, pictures and jewelry. For many years she lived in her own apartment in Clear Lake. In 1990 she moved to Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Mason City.

She was a member of the Ventura United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her parents, Albert and Fannie Duregger, of Clear Lake; three sisters, Mrs. John (Karen) Nichols, Clear Lake, Vickie Dietrich, Mason City, and Mrs. William C. (Jolene) Boyd, Mason City; one brother, Dennis R. Duregger, Clear Lake; nine nieces and seven nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and one infant sister, Venetta Mae.

Pallbearers will be Steve Wilson, Tim Nichols, Aaron Dietrich, Tim Dietrich, Steve Duregger and Ryan Melhus. Honorary pallbearers are Virgil Duregger, Edward Duregger Jr. and Leo Duregger.
