Death of William Hall

Walter William Hall was born near Clear Lake, May 30, 1890, and died at the Park Hospital, Mason City, Dec. 7, 1914. He returned about four weeks ago from Canada, where he had been for a short time. Five days’ ago he was taken sick, and the end came soon. He suffered with Brights disease and pneumonia. He had been a resident of Clear Lake nearly all his life, so was well known to the younger set.

He leaves to mourn his loss a father and mother, four sisters, Mrs. M. J. Kelly and Mrs. A. B. Grubb of Mason City, Mrs. Ernest Cook and Mrs. Roy French of Clear Lake; two brothers, Charles and Harry of Mason City.

The funeral was held from the M. E. church of Clear Lake, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. T. B. Stafford, and the remains were laid to rest in the Clear Lake cemetery.
