MASON CITY - Faye A. Bemiss, 63, of 1037 19th St. S.W., died Tuesday (Dec. 17, 1994) at the I.O.O.F. Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with Glen Bandel officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and on Saturday morning until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Faye A. Bemis Memorial Fund.

Faye was born July 15, 1931, in Mason City a daughter of Sydney A. and Leona Florence (Beebe) Bemis. She had lived at Handicap Village in Clear Lake for many years, but moved to the I.O.O.F. Home 12 years ago.

Faye was a very loving person who enjoyed family and friends. She was a Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

She is survived by three sisters, Lois A. Riekens of Mason City, Lila J. O' Donnell of Mason City and Iris M. Carey of Arrington, Va.; one brother-in-law, Robert W. Arndt of Mason City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, Hazel Peterson, Evelyn Bemis, Gladys Belseth, Phyllis Thomas and Lily Arndt, and one brother, Edmond Bemis.

[Interment was made at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.]
