L. E. MILES DIES AT HOME

CLEAR LAKE – Levi Ernest Miles, 72, died early Saturday morning at his farm home west of Thornton.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mr. Miles, son of Levi and Helen Miles, was born Jan. 27, 1885, Union Township, Clear Lake. He is survived by his wife, Sena; four sons, Richard, Ellsworth and John, all of Thornton, and Frank, Newell, S.D.; three brothers, Frank, John and Ed Miles, all of Clear Lake, and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Mr. Miles was a member of the Christian Church.
