JOHN MCCLEMENT DIED WEDNESDAY
HAD BEEN ILL ONLY A DAY OR TWO – FUNERAL HELD ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON

John McClement, who the past two years had made his home in Clear Lake and who is the brother of George of Forest City and Hiram of this city, passed away on Wednesday.

He had been working the previous week for D. Colgan, and on Saturday night was as well as usual. Some time Sunday he was taken ill and by Wednesday was in critical condition. He was then taken to Park hospital but lived only a half hour.

Mr. McClement was born in this county and for thirty years made his home in Mason City. While there he was engaged in plastering and in mason work. The past two years, since the death of his mother, he has lived here with his brother Hiram. He leaves the two brothers mentioned above and one son, Roy of Fairmont, Minn.

The funeral service was conducted at the Ward Funeral Home, at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. W. B. Milne. Interment was made in the Clear Lake cemetery.
