H. MCCLEMENT DIES IN HOSPITAL
PLANS FOR FUNERAL ARE INCOMPLETE

CLEAR LAKE – Hiram McClement, nearly 60, died at a Mason City hospital Monday afternoon following an illness of 3 months. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at Ward’s funeral home.

Mr. McClement was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel McClement, pioneer residents of Clear Lake, now long dead. He was also preceded by 3 brothers, Arthur, John and Elmer.

Surviving is a brother George, Forest City, and a son, Cpl. Dale McClement, Camp Grant, Ill.

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Hiram McClement, about 60, who died Monday afternoon at a Mason City hospital following a prolonged illness, were held at Ward’s funeral home Thursday afternoon. Doctor Roy C. Helfenstein, pastor of the First Congregational church, conducted the rites and burial was in Clear Lake cemetery.

Pallbearers were W.J. McGowan, E.W. Winnie, Phil Bieber and Leland Patterson.

Attending the services from away were a son, Cpl. Dale McClement, Camp Grant, Ill., and a brother, George McClement, Forest City.
