STANLEY ANDERSEN

Funeral services for Stanley E. Andersen, 72, of 1900 N. Shore Drive, Clear Lake, a partner in The Andersen Co., contractors in the Clear Lake area, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. 4th St., Clear Lake.

The Rev. Robert Rod officiated and burial was in the Clear Lake Cemetery, where military rites were conducted by the Clear Lake VFW.

The family requests memorials be made to Zion Lutheran Church in memory of Stanley E. Andersen.

Mr. Andersen was born June 16, 1913 to Ernest and Regina (Petersen) Andersen. He attended Clear Lake schools and Iowa State University, Ames. He had served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He owned and operated The Andersen Co., contractors and builders, with his brother, a business originally started by their father, Ernest, many years ago.

Survivors include one brother, Reinhardt, Clear Lake, and a sister-in-law Jane Andersen, Clear Lake; a nephew, Jon Andersen, Cleveland, Ohio; and two nieces, Mrs. Daniel (Amy) Florey, Minnetonka, Minn., and Mrs. Beverly Lassiter, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Louise Folkmann and Shirley Wubben provided music for the service. Active pallbearers were Irvin Sanders, Don Kusain, Loren Whelan, Mark Schoeller, Warren Jacobsen, and David Chaney. Honorary pallbearers were Max Clausen, Ray Hewitt, A.W. Schultz, Larry Weide, Lawrence Fredriksen, Walter Dorseth, Jack Kennedy, Gerald Jensen, DuWayne Jensen, Dr. W.K. Dankle and Mark Arneson.
