ROY PALMETER DIES IN WEST
FORMER RESIDENT TO BE BURIED AT LAKE

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. W. W. Choate, 314 N. 3rd street, has received word of the death of her brother, Roy A. Palmeter, 71, at Long Beach, Cal., Jan 30. He had been in failing health for some time but was able to spend several weeks in Clear Lake last summer. The body will be brought here for burial, the exact time to be announced.

Mr. Palmeter was born in Clear Lake Oct. 4, 1875, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Palmeter, and grew up in this community. He had lived in Long Beach about 18 years, making his home with his son, Donald.

Besides his son, he is survived by 4 grandchildren; a brother, Paul Palmeter, Detroit, Mich., and 2 sisters, Mrs. Choate and Mrs. A. R. Klein, Mishawake, Ind.
