MARK D. HAUGEN

Mark D. Haugen, 56, of Clear Lake, died Sunday Dec. 22, 2013 at the Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City. Do to his wishes, he was cremated. Celebration of his life will be held at later time.

Mark was born Aug. 24, 1957 in Mason City, the son of Dale and Darlene (Dodd) Haugen. He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1975.

He married Patty Lenz and to this union they had two sons, Josh and Jake. In 1988 he married Shari Brower and to this union had a daughter Shana Haugen.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, card games and tinkering with motorcycles. If you were lucky enough to have met Mark, you would never forget him.

Mark is survived by his three children, Joshua Haugen, Fairbanks, Alaska, Jacob Haugen, Geneva, Iowa, and Shana Haugen, Clear Lake; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sky and Cole Haugen; stepfather, Robert Butner, Clear Lake; brother, Michael Haugen, Clear Lake; and a sister, Alice Bramley, Clear Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, uncles and aunts.

Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
