PLAN RITES FOR L. F. SECORY, 80
FUNERAL SERVICES AT WARD’S TUESDAY, 2

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for L. F. Secory, 80, who died at the home of his son, E. L. Secory, 1015 S. 3rd street, Saturday evening after an illness of several weeks, will be held at Ward’s funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Doctor E. W. Day, Congregational pastor, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake cemetery.

Mr. Secory, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Secory, was born at Owatonna, Minn., Oct. 16, 1870, and was married there to Miss Bessie Jirlel Nov. 25, 1890. They lived at Owatonna several years, Mason City 11 years and at Grand Haven, Mich., 30 years before coming to Clear Lake 3 years ago.

Besides his wife, Mr. Secory is survived by 5 sons and 4 daughters; Mrs. Frank Bouda and Albert Secory, Mason City; Mrs. Joe Petsko, Hinckley, Minn., Lewis Secory and Mrs. Vernon VerPlank, Spring Lake, Mich., Miss Martha Secory Grand Haven, Mich.; Frank Secory, Port Huron, Mich.; Otto Secory, Mitchell, S. Dak., and Edward, Clear Lake, 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 3 small children.
