CLEAR LAKE – Ralph W. Walls, 53, 1105 9th Ave. N., died Monday afternoon in a Clear Lake nursing home, where he had been about eight months. He had farmed in the Clear Lake-Mason City-Rockwell area his entire life until ill health forced retirement in 1968

He was a World War II veteran. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Christian Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; two sons, Curtis, Thornton; and Ronald, Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Emil (Cecil) Broers, Clear Lake three brothers, Russell and Donald, Clear Lake, Leonard, Decatur, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
