ANNA C. WALSH RITES TO BE TUESDAY

CLEAR LAKE – Anna C. Walsh, 88, mother of Mrs. J.J. Kuns, died Saturday evening in a Clear Lake nursing home where she had lived more than seven years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Murley A. Severtson, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Anna Christena Walsh was born December 16, 1878, at Albert Lea Minn., the daughter of Mons and Anna (Bolstad) Tang. When she was young, the family moved to Forest City where she attended school.

She was married in 1895 to Thomas F. Walsh, at Forest City. They lived in Forest City, Miller and Clear Lake before moving to California in 1936. Mr. Walsh died in March 1940 and she continued living in California until 1958 when she returned to Clear Lake.

She is survived by a daughter, Gladys Kuns, Clear Lake; three sons, Arthur Walsh, Reseda, Calif.; Virgil, Van Nuys, Calif., and Herschel, Belleville, Ill.; one brother, Henry Tang, Port Orchard, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Ingor Williams, Thousand Oaks, Calif., and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three daughters, two brothers and a sister, besides her husband.
