PLAN RITES FOR T.F. WALSH, 69
SERVICES FOR FORMER LAKE PLUMBER TO BE THURSDAY, 2 O’CLOCK

CLEAR LAKE -- Funeral services for Thomas F. Walsh, 69, who died at his home in Montgomery Park, Cal., Friday of a heart attack, will be held at Williams funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Ruben Mostrom, pastor of the Zion Lutheran church, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake cemetery.

The body arrived from California Wednesday afternoon and was to lie in state at the mortuary on East State street Wednesday evening.

Mr. Walsh was born on a farm near Chillicothe, Mo., Nov. 10, 1870. Sept. 6, 1894, he was married to Miss Anna Tang at Forest City. About 1906 the family moved to Clear Lake where Mr. Walsh followed his trade of plumber for many years. In 1926 Mr. and Mrs. Walsh moved west.

Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Walsh. One daughter, Goldie, died about 15 years ago and is buried at Clear Lake . Besides his widow, Mr. Walsh is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Kuns and Miss Avis Walsh, Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. Jay Westcott, Ventura, and four sons, Virgil and Arthur, Los Angeles; Herschel, St. Louis, Mo., and Donald, Scott Field, Ill. There are also 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Walsh and Miss Avis accompanied the body from California and Herschel and Donald arrived Tuesday for the funeral. A granddaughter, Mrs. Wayne Elgin also came from Los Angeles.
