FRANK BENNER, VENTURA, DIED

CLEAR LAKE – Frank E. Benner, 67, Ventura, died suddenly at his home Tuesday afternoon. He was a farmer in the Clear Lake vicinity for many years and operated a truck line until a year ago.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the E.U.B. Church at Ventura with the Rev. A.E. Rau, pastor, officiating. A prayer service will be held at the residence at 1:45 p.m. Burial will be made in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Benner was born on a farm southwest of Clear Lake, the son of Oliver A. and Emma Benner. He was married to Florence Hyde, Jan. 1, 1913, at Mason City. They farmed for many years and moved to Ventura in 1934. He was a member of the E.U.B. Church.

Surviving him are his wife, one son, Rodney, Clear Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Cy (Geraldine) Kopecky, Washington, D.C.; Virginia Faye Benner, San Diego; one brother, Edwin, Ventura; three sisters, Mrs. H.F. Gephart, Mason City; Mrs. Bob Allen and Mrs. N.J. Davis, both of san Diego, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
