Three children came to bless this union, Alfred, Anna, and Cecil. Mr. Anderson died June 16th, 1916, after about two years of illness. His wife died suddenly a little over a year ago. It was thereover necessary that the children be taken care of by others and so two went to stay with their grandparents and one with an aunt.

Of near relatives Mr. Anderson leaves two brothers and one sister in the old country and here he leaves his sister, Mrs. Anton Haugen, and brother, Mr. Christ Anderson, also Mrs. Flom, a sister who lives at Wesley and who was also present at the funeral here Sunday.

The funeral services were conducted from the United Lutheran church Sunday afternoon. Rev. R. M. Vordale of Mason City, conducted the services as Rev. Jensen was out of town. Many friends attended and brought flowers. The remains were laid to rest in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
