RITES SET FOR THURSDAY AT E.U.B. CHURCH

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank E. (Florence) Benner, 72, Ventura, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Ventura, with the Rev. C.G. Sparks officiating. Mrs. Benner died Monday afternoon following a long illness.

Pallbearers chosen are nephews, Jack, Donald and Kenneth Hyde, Charles Gephart, Robert Allen and Ronald Abel. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral is in charge of arrangements.

Florence Benner was born July 5, 1894, on a farm near Clear Lake, the daughter of Amos and Betsy (Thronson) Hyde. She lived all her life in the Clear Lake, Ventura area. She was married Jan. 1, 1913, to Frank E. Benner in Mason City. He preceded herin death in 1956.

Surviving are on son, Rodney, Clear Lake, two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Virginia) Hargarten, San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Cyril (Geraldine) Kopecky in Huf, Germany, where her husband is serving with the U.S. Air Force.

Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Art (Fannie) Abel, Ventura, and Mrs. Harry (Hazel) Gliden, Boone; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Benner was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Ventura.
