ANDERSEN RITES TO BE THURSDAY AT ZION CHURCH

Funeral services for Mrs. Ernest H. Andersen, 76, 901 N. Shore, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Richard Ellington will officiate at the Zion Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Andersen died at a Mason City hospital Monday afternoon. She had fallen nine days ago in her home and broken her hip and also had suffered a stroke.

Mrs. Tom Arthur and Mrs. F. P. Walker will be in charge of the flowers. Mrs. Loren Sadler will be soloist, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. A. E. Folkmann.

Pallbearers selected are A. W. Schultz, Gerald Jensen, Carroll Anderson, Holger Carlson, Rudy Hansen and Aaron Bless. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. The Ward Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.

Regina Constance Andersen was born April 13, 1888 at Taars, Denmark, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Pedersen. She attended schools there. She was married to Ernest H. Andersen Sept. 26, 1910, at Saeby, Denmark. They came to the United States, settling in Clear Lake. Mr. Andersen owned and operated the Andersen Construction Company until his death in July 1960.

Survivors include two sons, Stanley and Reinhardt, both of Clear Lake; one sister, Mrs. Anna Christensen, Denmark, and three grandchildren.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a 50 year member of Tina Rebekah Lodge.
