HOLD SERVICES FOR MRS. M. N. NELSON

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Mrs. M. M. (Bessie) Nelson, 73, who died at Portland, Ore., Sept. 19, were held at the Wilcox Funeral Home Saturday afternoon. Dr. E.W. Day, pastor of the Congregational Church conducted the rites and burial was in the family lot in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Pearl Hickok, Clarence Borton, Charles Findson, John and Frank Miles and Ray Baker. Flowers were arranged by Mmes. L. E. Ashland and Walter Ames.

Relatives from a distance included Mr. and Mrs. Leslie C. Adams, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. George B. Arbuckle, Kent, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Welty, Pas Christian, Miss.; Dr. and Mrs. W. F. Hamstreet, Burt, and Messrs. and Mmes. Wilbur Myers and Bernie Klangen, Nevada. Many other relatives and friends were present from Mason City, Swaledale, Rockwell and Thornton.

Following the service members of the Tina Rebekah Lodge served lunch at IOOF Hall for 50 relatives and friends.
