ESTHER V. TESENE

Funeral services were held Friday at the United Methodist Church, Clear Lake , for Esther V. Tesene, 83, of 709 N. 10th Street, Clear Lake, who died Tuesday (July 16, 1985) at home.
The Rev. James Louk officiated and burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Miss Tesene taught school in Rock Valley, Clear Lake, Hansell and Manson.

She was born Dec. 11, 1901 in Clear Lake to Frank and Mathilda (Knaak) Tesene. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1918 and was a graduate of Iowa State University, where she majored in home economics. Miss Tesene was a member of the Home Improvement Club, of which her mother was a charter member.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Gladys Tesene, rural Mason City; one brother, Roland, Santa Maria, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.

Mary Jane Reynolds and Scott Sadler provided the music for the service. Pallbearers were Gilbert Luker, Merlyn Schmoll, Frank Boker, Mac Dresbach, Terry Dresbach and Mike Moss.
