CLARENCE “OLE” OLSON

CLEAR LAKE – Clarence T. “Ole” Olson, 69, of 900 1st Ave. N. Clear Lake, died Wednesday (July 20, 1983) at a Clear Lake nursing home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Mark Jolivette of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.

The family requests memorials be made to the Clarence T. “Ole” Olson Memorial Fund.

Born in 1913 in Clear Lake, Mr. Olson was the son of Olof and Julia (Anfinson) Olson. He attended Clear Lake High School and was in the Seebees, a branch of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Ruby Berton Kirkpatrick in 1970 in Hampton.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby, Clear Lake; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard (Marilyn) Klahn, Marquette, Mich.; two step-grandchildren, Sarah and Joel Klahn, Marquette, Mich., and one sister, Mrs. Milton (Janet) Toinby, Cotter, Ark.
