MRS. PETER PETERSEN DIES AT 80

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. Peter P. (Anna) Petersen, 80, died Saturday morning in a Mason City after being in failing health for several months.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, in the United Brethren Church, Ventura. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery with the Bohn Funeral Home, Garner, in charge.

Mrs. Petersen was born Sept. 4, 1885, the daughter of C.K. and Sophine Jensen Andersen, at Clear Lake. She had lived all her life in the Clear Lake vicinity, attending Grant Township schools and Normal College, Austin, Minn.

She was married Nov. 27, 1913 to Peter O. Petersen. Surviving are her husband; a son, Everett M. Petersen, Ventura; two daughters, Mrs. Gayle (Virginia) Tice, Garner, and Mrs. Fred (Genevieve) Martin, Clear Lake; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Andrew Andersen, Mason City, and a sister, Mrs. Ben (Carrie) Hall, Garner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.
