Mayme B. Ward dies at 68 in I.O.O.F. Home

Mayme B. Ward, 68, a retired Des Moines hotel manager, died early Saturday at the I.O.O.F. Home following a long illness. She had lived here since Dec. 27, 1949.

Funeral services and burial will be at Knoxville, with the Williams Funeral Home in charge. The Major Funeral Home is in charge locally.

Mrs. Ward was born in Valene, Ind., on Oct 26, 1891, a daughter of Albert and Martha Hulgan. She was a member of Queen Rebekah Loge 106, Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Ward. Survivors include a brother, W. H. Hulgan, Knoxville, and a sister, Oma Hulgan, Des Moines.
