Henry Velthoff, 76, lifelong resident, dies

Henry George Velthoff, 76, a retired Milwaukee Road car inspector, died late Saturday morning at a local hospital. He lived at 334 20th S.E. and was a lifelong resident of Mason City.

FUneral arrangements are incomplete at the Colonial Funeral Home, pending word from relatives.

Mr. Velthoff was born here March 11, 1884, the son of William and Gerturde Velthoff. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred [Ruth (Nei)]; two sons and two daughters, nine grandchildren and two sisters.

[Interment was made at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.]
