Service set for John Moore, 91, at IOOF Chapel

John Moore, 91, Creston, died Friday morning at the IOOF Home. He had lived there since Sept. 25, 1960. He had lived at Creston throughout his life until coming to Mason City.

Mr. Moore was born Feb. 14, 1972 [1873 as per his gravestone], at Creston, son of John and Elizabeth (Preston) Moore. He was a member of Progress Lodge 207 at Creston. The only survivors are nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the IOOF Chapel. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemtery. The Major-Erickson Funeral Home is in charge.
