Clara Farmer service set for Wednesday

Clara H. Farmer, 84, died Sunday at the IOOF Home. She had entered the home from Maywood, Calif., July 11, 1961. She had been a member of Rebekah Lodge, Des Moines, since 1917.

Mrs. Farmer was born Jan. 15, 1877, at Albion, Iowa, daughter of Milton J. and Mary Jane Hussey. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Versal (Eva) Seaman, of rural Albia, Iowa, and a foster son, Beverly Wells, Moses Lake, Wash.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the IOOF Chapel. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Mason City. The McAuley-Scanlan-Peterson Funeral Home is in charge.

Clara Farmer funeral held

Funeral services for Clara H. Farmer, 84, who died Sunday at the IOOF Home, were held Wednesday afternoon at the IOOF Chapel. Tom Norris officiated.

A quartet consisting of Marlys and Betty Richey and Patty Connor and Nancy Thompkins sang. Wilma Atherton was pianist. Mrs. Maynard C. Fessenden, Mable Hubacher and Mrs. Oliver Repp conducted services by the Rebekah Lodge.

Pallbearers were C. R. Doebel and Lewis Herth of Manly and Conrad Krug, George W. Chesebro, L. D. Snell and Arthur Holroyd of Plymouth. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery. The McAuley-Scanlan-Peterson Funeral Home was in charge.
