WILLIAM BIEBER RITES THURSDAY
INTERMENT TO BE AT CLEAR LAKE CEMETERYCLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for William Bieber, 57, who died at Kankakee, Ill., Sunday morning at 6:30, following a long illness, will be held at Ward’s funeral home at 2:30 Thursday. The Rev. Warner M. Hubbard, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
Mr. Bieber was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mrs. Lottie Kabrick.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Robert, Berkeley, Cal.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Way, Columbus, Ga. and 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Phil, Clear Lake; Garfield, Madison, Wis.; and R. E. Sizer, Mason City, and e sisters, Mrs. Tina Taylor, Des Moines; Mrs. Ruth Gilchrist, Clear Lake and Mrs. Emma Clapper, Avalon. Wis.
William Bieber was born in Clear Lake Nov. 19, 1890, the son of Christian and Elizabeth Bieber. He attended the Clear Lake schools and was one of the owners of Bieber Brothers Meat Market for several years. Mr. Bieber was married to Marie Pickard in 1912. They moved to California in 1942 and lived at Paso Robles until July, 1948, they went to Kankakee, Ill., to the home of his son so he could receive medical attention. He died at Kankakee Oct. 31.
William Bieber was born November 19, 1890, died October 31, 1948 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Section 2 Row 6.
