DEATH OF WILLIAM YOUNG

William J. Young was born in Clear Lake, Iowa, December 15, 1879, passing away at the hospital in Benson, Minnesota at 1:45 a.m., June 21, 1917, aged 38 years, 6 months and 6 days.

On November 30, 1899 he was united in marriage to Miss Nettie M. McGuiness of Clear Lake. To them was born eight children. Early in life he united with the Baptist church in Clear Lake, and was a consistent and faithful member of the church. He had always resided in this vicinity until seven years ago when the family moved to Benson, Minn., where he lived until he met with the accident that caused his untimely death, an account of which was published in the Mirror of last week.

The deceased was a kind and indulgent husband and father. To mourn his loss he leaves a young wife, eight children and a large circle of immediate relatives and friends. The heartfelt sympathy of this community is extended to the sorrowing ones.

Funeral services were held from the M. E. church Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, conducted by Rev. J. L. Gillies. Interment was in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
