ROSS HUBBARD RITES HELD
MILITARY SERVICES HELD AT GRAVESIDE AT CLEAR LAKE CEMETERY

Funeral services for Ross O. Hubbard, 51, who died Tuesday night, were held at the chapel of the McAuley and Son funeral home Saturday, with the Rev. George Marsh, pastor of the Church of Christ, in charge.

Mrs. B. T. Erholm played obsequial music on the organ.

Pallbearers were Boyd H. Walter, Sidney Stott, Jack Murray, Fred W. Bruns, Anthoney Paveck and Harold Elliott. Burial was at the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Members of San Juan post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion post 101 attended and were in charge of military services at the graveside.

Members of the firing squad were Tim Phalen, John Gallagher, Vail Wilson, G. O. Rollison, W. B. Rae and J. C. Christianson. L. L. Raymond was the color bearer. W. E. Hall and H. W. Kerr were color guard. Robert Ady was bugler.

Attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hubbard, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Ethel Brainard, South Bend, Ind.

Transcriber’s Note – Ross Hubbard died August 4, 1942 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Section 3 Row 8.
