LAURICE D. HUNTLEY

ROCKWELL – Laurice D. Huntley, 76, rural Rockwell, died Sunday (May 3, 1987) at the IOOF Home in Mason City.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel in Clear Lake with the Rev. Hershall Hawf of Riceville officiating.

Visitation will be after 4 this afternoon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery with military honors by the Clear Lake Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Huntley, who farmed near Rockwell until retiring, was born in Aredale, the son of Harry and Nellie (Bray) Huntley.

He attended Clear Lake schools and later farmed with his father south of Clear Lake.

He married Fayne Patton in March 1934 at Clear Lake.

During World War II, Mr. Huntley served in the Army. He was a member of the VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Fayne; four sons, Kenneth, Rockwell; Keith and Ron, both of Clear Lake, and Wayne, Manly; a sister, Gladys (Walter) Campney, Clear Lake; 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Any memorials should be given to the Laurice D. Huntley memorial Fund.
