PLAN RITES FOR NATHAN J. HULL
FUNERAL AT WILLIAMS’ SATURDAY, 2 0’CLOCK

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Nathan J. Hull, 72, who died in the home of his cousin, Ira Stewart, Thursday noon, will be held at Williams’ funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Mr. Hull suffered a stroke last Saturday and failed rapidly.

The Rev. Verne A. Spindell, pastor of the Congregational church, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mr. Hull, who was the only son of Dr. J. M. Hull and Mary Stewart Hull, was born at Lake Mills in May, 1871. His father was a practicing physician in Lake Mills for many years.

Mr. Hull had been a resident of Clear Lake most of the time for 30 years, making his home with his cousins, the Stewart brothers. For several years he served as bookkeeper for Choate and Chizek in the ice business. He was unmarried, very quiet and a great reader.

Mr. Hull was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters who died many years ago. Surviving are a nephew and a number of cousins.

Transcriber’s Note – Nathan J. Hull was born May, 1971, died 1943 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Section 3 Row 5.
