MRS. HYDE RITES HELD JUNE 11 AT FUNERAL HOME

Rites for Mrs. Beryl Elaine Hyde, 79, 112 No. 9th St. who died suddenly at her home here Friday, were held June 11 at 2 p.m. at Wilcox Funeral Home. Pastor Darwin Reiter of Zion Lutheran Church officiated. Mrs. Arnold Bostrom sang “Oh Take My Hand, Dear Father,” and “Abide With Me,” accompanied by Mrs. H. L. Erickson.

Pallbearers were J. B. Osnes, Howard Cash, Art Hollatz, Earl Mack, George Hoffman and Jim Anderson. Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Born Oct. 26, 1882, at Stoughton, Wis., she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Coates. She had lived in Clear Lake since 1943. Her husband, Sam, died in April.

Surviving are two sons, William, Mound, Minn.; Frank, Mason City; a daughter, Vera Norgaard, Mount; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a sister, Eva Keyes, Fulton, N.Y.; a step-son, Lynn Hyde, Clear Lake, four step-grandchildren and 13 step-great grandchildren.

Transcriber’s Note - Beryl Elaine Hyde was born October 26, 1882, died June 1962 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Section 2 Row 11.
