WILL BARLOW DIES SUDDENLY
HEART ATTACK CAUSES DEATH; FUNERAL IS AT WARD’S TUESDAY, 2:30

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Bill Barlow, 76, who died at his home, 408 North East Street, early Sunday following a heart attack, will be held at Ward’s Funeral Home at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. B. A. Davis, Methodist camp, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

William Lincoln Barlow was born May 24, 1866, at Monticello, Wis., the son of Richard and Ann Barlow. He grew to manhood in that vicinity and on Oct. 9, 1888, was married to Miss Myrta Cox. To them twins, Eva and Everett, were born Nov. 17, 1890, and Mrs. Barlow died on Nov. 24.

At Orangeville, Ill., Mr. Barlow was married to Miss Hannah J. Shockley on May 1, 1894, and to them one son, Royal, was born.

The family moved to Clear Lake in July, 1899. They lived on farms near Clear Lake for a number of years and Mr. Barlow followed his trade, that of brick and stone mason, until ill health forced him to retire. He had been in failing health for some time but became seriously ill only an hour before his death. He was able to be up town last week.

Mr. Barlow is survived by his wife; two sons, Royal, at home, and Everett, Yuba City, Cal.; one daughter, Mrs. Phil Bieber, 314 Clark Street; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren besides a number of nieces and nephews. Two of the grandchildren, Mrs. Peter O. Petersen, 515 Clara Street, and Donald Barlow, Saginaw, Mich., were reared in his home.
