WESLEY ROBBINS

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan 21 for Wesley W. Robbins, 49, Rt. 1, Ventura. Mr. Robbins, general foreman for Winnebago Industries, died at his home, Jan. 18.

The Rev. Worthie K. Usher officiated at the United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. Mrs. Donald Kacer sang, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Harry Mason.

Pallbearers were Ralph Ott, Jr., Jack Ott, Milo Hall, Earl Thompson, Norman Ballantyne and Emory Brown. Mrs. Kenneth Lincicum and Mrs. Robert Glanville cared for the flowers. Harold Miller was usher.

Interment was in Clear Lake Cemetery. Osthus James Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Robins was born May 6, 1925 at Clear Lake, Iowa to Mr. and Mrs. R. D. (L. Maude Walters) Robbins.

He was married Oct. 27, 1946 in Clear Lake to Dorothy Ott. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army, 1902 D. Engineer Aviation Battalion. He was a member of First Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, Ventura; one son, J. Douglas Robbins, Elk Point, S.D.; three daughters, W. Rosanne Robbins, Mason City; Sherri Jon Robbins, Cedar Falls, Ia., and Kandis Rae Robbins, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Robbins and one brother, H. W. Robbins, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Transcriber’s Note – Wesley W. Robbins was born May 6, 1925, died January 18, 1975 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Section 2 Row 11.
