MRS. FISTLER DIES AT LAKE
FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR PIONEER WOMAN AT RESIDENCE

CLEAR LAKE, Aug. 21 – Mrs. Marion Fistler, 71, died at her home at 601 North Third Street Saturday afternoon following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the residence with the Rev. W. B. Milne officiating.

Mrs. Fistler was born Dec. 22, 1858, in Virneburg, Germany, and accompanied her father to America at the age of 9 years. She spent her girlhood near Stacyville and in 1876 was married at Osage to Christian Fistler.

Several years later they moved to Clear Lake. Mrs. Fistler lived in this community over 50 years and at her present home for 47 years.

She is survived by two sons, P. W. Fistler and Reuben Fistler; two daughters, Gertrude, all of Clear Lake; Mrs. Clara Fohrs, Bradley, S. Dak., and a sister, Mrs. F. A. Benolken, Omaha.

Mrs. Fohrs and her daughter, Mrs. Carroll Peterson and grandson, Marshall, of Watertown, S. Dak., arrived Sunday to attend the funeral. The sister, Mrs. Benolken, returned this week after a visit here.
